the END, from the BEGINNING.

When it starts, God already knows how it will finish!

Even before it happens, the Lord
already knows what is going to happen!

He can see the end, when we are
at the beginning.

He knows everything that will take place all in between the beginning and the end.

What a huge advantage to have
Someone like that with you,
on your side.

It shines like a light, so that you
don't have to walk in darkness.
You don't have to be unaware
of what's going to happen for you, or to you.

In one word, this is called
PROPHECY!

In Genesis 16
Hagar was frustrated.
She was angry.
She had enough!


🙍🏻‍♀
After enduring the situation,
she decided she couldn't take it any more!


🏃🏻‍♀ 🤰🏻
Off she went into the desert.
Alone and pregnant!

🙌🏼
But God is merciful.
And she was carrying
Abraham's seed.



🧔🏼‍♂
The Angel of the Lord was sent to meet her,
before her bad decision destroyed her life.



🙇🏻‍♀
He gave her a chance to
express her reason.
Then told her to turn right back and go to where she belonged!



🙆🏻‍♀
The Angel said God had something great ahead of her,
and that God had heard her misery.

Hagar must have been amazed.
God sees me!
And I saw God.



She named him El Roi.

She went back home
to Sarai!

In Genesis 16
Hagar quit and left.


☀️💦
Tired and thirsty in the hot desert,
she stopped at a well for some water.


👤
But she met someone at the well who changed her attitude and changed the direction she had taken.



🏃🏻‍♀ 🪣💦
Just like the Samaritan woman
who dropped her bucket and went back to the city,
Hagar dropped her wayward
agenda, and went back to the place she belonged.

The Angel of the Lord will meet you halfway.
Between the place you're supposed to be,
and the place of destruction.


✋🏼
He'll stop you going in the wrong way,
and speak the truth to you in love.



He is Hagar's Angel.
