There was a death penalty,
for anyone who came to the king without an official summons.

Initially, when Ahasuerus
needed a wife, he was ravished
by Esther.
He loved her and she obtained
favour in his sight.

He set the royal crown on her head,
and made her queen instead of Vashti.
There was great celebration.

But after some time,
the king refocussed on his work.

A whole month went by, and he
had not called Esther!


🤷🏻‍♀ 🙆🏻‍♀🤦🏻‍♀🙎🏻‍♀🙍🏻‍♀
Esther must have really
wondered what was going on. She probably felt very low,
discouraged, and depressed.

Jesus was teaching
the whole day.

In the evening He told His disciples,
"Let's cross over to the other side".

As they crossed, a great wind blew.
Waves got into the boat.
It was full of water.


🙅🏻‍♂🙅🏼‍♂🙅🏽‍♂🙅🏻‍♂😨😰🗣 💤
The disciples frantically awoke Jesus,
who was asleep on a cushion.


🗣
When He woke up, Jesus spoke up!

He didn't say, "Uh, guys, lets all get off this boat, and quickly!"
"Peter, you're a good swimmer,
get a hold of Matthew, and make for shore."

No, that's not what Jesus said!


🗣
He actually REBUKED the wind.
(There's something you need to rebuke today in prayer).

And the He said to the sea,
" PEACE, BE STILL "

The wind stopped, and the sea was calm.▫️
(Stay in the boat and remain calm).

If there is a prevalent problem
in our world today, it is
the problem of MENTAL HEALTH.


😵‍💫
From Anxiety Disorders like depression,
and compulsions,
and sleep-wake disorders,
to extreme conditions like psychosis and schizophrenia,
our world is plagued with
mental conditions.

Somebody said, "We're all mad,
it's just the level of madness that's different".

Corona compounded our problem.
With lockdowns, and shutdowns,
isolation, and innoculation fears,
the visibility of mental health
became more glaring.

JESUS CHRIST is the SAVIOUR
of the world!


🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 🌔🪐
Salvation and eternal life are
among His chief remedies.

👤 But in his wholistic approach,
He also catered to our mental
wellbeing.


🕊
God gave us His Spirit.

And His Spirit is, and leads,
to a Sound Mind.
