we don't get the results
that we wanted.

Things may be missing.
Some of life's sweets
and pleasures
are absent.

But all that doesn’t
mean that we can't
enjoy life.

John the Baptist
was in prison!

He heard about
the miracles that
Jesus was doing.


🌑
But the dark dungeon
where he now was,
had affected his faith.

☹️
Lonely, he was cut off
from the open field,
where he had roamed
freely before.
🙇
And he was now
disconnected from
the crowds who had
been his audience,
when he had preached
powerfully on the banks
of the Jordan River.


🥷
Now, under cold cruel
confinement,
John doubted the
very One he had baptized
and had testified to be
the Son of God!

🗣 "Are you the one
who is coming,
or should we
look for someone
else?"" (v3 TLB)

It's a 'Herod spirit', that seeks
to destroy your future,
your family, your finances,
but most of all
to destroy your FAITH!

BUT, JESUS will strengthen
your faith,
just as He did
with John the Baptist.

miracles and the gifts
of the Holy Ghost!
