😂 Gospel Giggle:
The Preacher’s Portrait
One small-town pastor decided to make his church flyer “look professional.” He went to the printer and ordered a big poster with his face on it. When it came back, there was his smiling portrait taking up three-quarters of the page, and in a tiny corner at the bottom it said: “Jesus Saves.”
On Sunday, as he proudly put it up, one of the children in church looked at it and shouted, “Wow, Pastor! You’re so big, Jesus almost didn’t make it onto the paper!”
The whole church laughed—except the pastor, who went home that night a little embarrassed. As he prayed, he realized the child was right. His face had gotten bigger than his faith.
The next week, he replaced the flyer. This time, it read in bold letters: “JESUS SAVES” across the top. His picture was still there—but small, at the bottom, with the words: “Just His servant.”
And you know what? The church grew, not because the pastor’s portrait was popular, but because the Savior’s story was shining.

When we make ourselves large, Christ looks little. But when we shrink ourselves, He stands tall.

> “He must increase, but I must decrease.” (John 3:30 KJV)
