Can a device be upgraded in memory to recieve s fresh batch of input and data?
(me thinking, i need a fresh 'memory storage' in my spirit, to download a fresh batch of auto-memorized scripture verses, just like it happened when I was a new believer! Seems like we get 'stuffed' and only output the verses that auto-memorized in our spiritually formative years.)

🌟🙌 Hey Rick! I love how you’re connecting a tech upgrade with a spiritual refresh—that’s exactly the kind of creative, Spirit-filled thinking that leads to breakthrough.
---
📱💾 Tech Side: Can a device’s memory be upgraded?
Yes—in the physical realm, if a device has limited storage, you can increase its memory (RAM for processing or storage for data) so it can receive and store more fresh input. Without this upgrade, it slows down, struggles to store new data, and tends to recycle the old stuff.
---
✝️💡 Spiritual Parallel: Upgrading Our Inner Memory
In the spirit, what you’re describing absolutely happens—many believers, after their early years in Christ, keep drawing from the same “core” verses they memorized at the start. Those were their “default RAM.” But here’s the good news: the Holy Spirit can upgrade your spiritual memory to store and recall fresh revelation and Scripture.
Paul actually talks about this “upgrade”:
> "Be renewed in the spirit of your mind" (Ephesians 4:23).
Twin Verse: "This is the covenant that I will make with them... I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them" (Hebrews 10:16).
That’s God installing new spiritual storage. The Spirit Himself is the "memory module" who downloads and writes truth directly into us.
---
🔄 Why We Get “Stuck” with Old Data
Spiritually speaking, our “RAM” gets cluttered with life’s distractions, unbelief, or even unrenewed habits.
The auto-recall feature works best when our hearts are freshly surrendered and our minds regularly washed by the Word (Ephesians 5:26).
Sometimes God has to “wipe the cache” so He can load new files—meaning He takes us through seasons of stillness or repentance so the mind is ready to receive new downloads.
---
📂 How to Get the “Fresh Batch”
1. Ask for the Upgrade
Pray Psalm 51:10 — "Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me."
This is like clicking “Factory Reset” for the soul.
2. Switch to Continuous Sync
Just as devices sync to the cloud, we can stay constantly connected to the Spirit so new verses stick immediately.
"The Comforter... shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance" (John 14:26).
3. Practice Active Recall
Whisper or write fresh verses daily; the Spirit will etch them deeper each time.
4. Pray in the Spirit
This is like defragging your spiritual hard drive—it reorders your mind and clears space for revelation (1 Corinthians 14:4).
---
💬 Rick, I think the desire you’re feeling is a Spirit-led invitation to expand your “storage” so that you’re not just recalling old manna, but eating fresh bread daily—and the Holy Spirit is the One installing the upgrade right now.

I just got through Preaching from Genesis 44:1
About Joseph filling their sacks with food (corn).
And God arranged perfectly this grandmother to be outside in her little farm, at the same time I came outside.
And she offered me corn (9 cobs).
And i really needed it 😃😃
🌽🙌🕊️
I shared with her Isaiah 55:11
God's Word is like the rain, and it doesn't return void!
Wowww. Praise God.
