菲律宾总统小马可斯在当局确认郭华萍（Alice Guo）已经离境后，下令取消她的菲律宾护照，并誓言对付那些违背民众的信任、协助郭华萍潜逃的人。小马可斯说，他们不仅会被停职，也必须面对法律的制裁。
郭华萍是丹辘省小城班班的前市长。菲律宾执法单位今年3月在班班城突击一家赌场，发现诈骗团伙据点，而这个据点就位于一幅郭华萍部分拥有的土地上。
菲律宾参议院5月开始展开调查，但指郭华萍拒绝出席聆讯，否认同中国犯罪团伙有关联，并坚称自己是土生土长的菲律宾公民。
她最近因严重渎职而被免职。
总统反有组织犯罪委员会发言人说，郭华萍使用菲律宾护照在上个月入境马来西亚和新加坡，这个月则到过印度尼西亚。
印尼一名移民官员告诉路透社，郭华萍是在上星期天下午1点多入境印尼。不过，郭华萍的律师说，她人在菲律宾，但没有提供任何详情

泰国首宗疑似新变异猴痘病例 密接者43人
泰国出现首宗疑似新变异猴痘病例。同这名患者密切接触者多达43人。
《曼谷邮报》报道，泰国公共卫生部的疾病控制局（DDC）昨天（21日）表示，一名早前从非洲入境泰国的66岁欧洲男子确诊猴痘。
患者从非洲经中东转机到泰国，于上星期三（14日）下午6点抵达。隔天，他出现发烧症状，身上还出现一些皮疹，前往医院就医，之后就一直留院观察。
当局初步检查发现，这名男子感染的病毒不是早前发现的致病力较弱的Clade 2变异株，而是较易传播的Clade 1b变异株。
但是，当局目前还不能百分百确认是否属Clade 1b变异株。当局还在进行基因比较测试，结果将在星期五公布。
医生说，由于患者并没有出现严重症状，而且，他也在抵达泰国后不久去医院就医，并一直留院观察，因此传播风险较小。
患者是一名曾在非洲工作的欧洲人。泰国当局正在追踪自14日起，在患者搭乘的航班上，坐在他前后两排的乘客。至今已经确认了43名泰国和外国籍乘客。
