LSAC Movie Night

"Let me have war, say I: it exceeds peace as far as day does night: it's sprightly waking, audible, and full of vent. Peace is a very apoplexy, lethargy; mulled, deaf, sleepy, insensible: a getter of more bastard children than war's a destroyer of men."

LSAC weekly training meet in North DFW.

Family and kids played together in the park while the men did a group calisthenics workout before being split into two groups to train boxing and Jiu Jitsu.

The training session ended with the whole group circling back up for sparring and brutal conditioning before going out with the families for food and live music.

Patria Gloria rolls out and sweeps all brackets with a 10-man crew in our largest competition to date – Blood on the Mats II: Enter The Ruins put on by Devotion Jiu Jitsu in Lynchburg, VA. In this submission-only single-elimination gi tournament, PG members dominated in the following:

White Belt 12-man Bracket:
1st - TYLER TN πŸ₯‡
2nd - DREW

Blue Belt 9-man Bracket:
1st - CHRIS TXπŸ₯‡
2nd - TYLER TN

Purple Belt 4-man Bracket:
1st - NORMAN TN πŸ₯‡

After the Gi competition an 8-man no gi bracket was organized for all the winners, brown and black belts including World Champion Matthias Waggener.

The winner of the No Gi Superfight was Our Own NORMAN TN πŸ₯‡

Some Highlights of this bracket were –
Tyler TN – a white belt – put up a formidable 8 minute round with Matthias Waggener before ultimately being submitted in what was one of the greatest matches of the night.

The Final Match was a 9 minute war between two juggernauts Matthias and Norman. No submission was achieved and victory was secured through Referee Decision on two solid submission attempts by Norman TN.

End of the night celebrations included food, drink, music and bareknuckle fights which also included PG members – Drew vs Tyler (Draw) and Grant (W) vs Lawrence.

A special Thank You to Devotion Jiu Jitsu, The Wolves and The Waggener Brothers for organizing the event, providing security, hosting us, allowing us to compete and extending your hospitality. The decay of modernity leaves us all alone and wandering in the Wilderness – events like BOTM and the example set by Devotion prove that we aren’t alone, that the future belongs to all of us.

Three LSAC members hit the road last weekend to compete at Blood On The Mats 2 - a spectacular weekend long event hosted by Devotion Jiu Jitsu in Central VA.

Two competed for the first time in the single elimination White belt division and were knocked out in their first matches- grateful to have had the opportunity to cut their teeth in competition in such a great environment of kindred spirits and sharp grapplers. The experience motivated them to double down on training and set their sights on the next comp immediately.

LSAC's Chris won the blue belt division, submitting all 3 opponents in under 3 minutes.

Shout out to the Devotion Jiu Jitsu crew for their generous hospitality- these guys know how to facilitate an event and throw a party. Highly encourage following their competitors and culture, supporting by picking up some merch, or reaching out to potentially drop in for a class if you're passing through VA.

Shoutout Patria Gloria and their competitors, follow them as well for other righteous dudes that epitomize what it means to be an American Grappler.

And shoutout to all the competitors, the savages that jumped in the bareknuckle fights in the ruins, and friends we met out there. See you for Blood On The Mats 3.

Jiu Jitsu lads reviewed some crucifix and armbar variations followed by some hard rolls while the others worked boxing drills and sparring at our weekly training last Sunday- then grilling, feasting and enjoying the evening with our families.

Hit us up. Come out and train with us. We do this every single week.

Last weekend 8 LSAC men traveled to SoCal for Frontier '24– the third and largest annual iteration of a radical Nationalist fight invitational.

Props to LSAC's Matt for winning his boxing match by decision against a tough opponent in his sharpest performance yet in the ring.

We had a blast road tripping through West Texas through New Mexico and Arizona to the pristine Pacific beaches of sunny Southern California– stopping to hike National parks, explore sand dunes and swimming holes, and see historic sites along the way.

The fun and camaraderie in setting out with your boys on vast road trips across the continent to experience its natural beauty, is as memorable and fun as the destination.

Our club and the burgeoning culture and community to which we belong affords young men the unique opportunity for sport, competition, camaraderie, and travel, that is found nowhere else.

Thanks to SoCal Active Club for hosting, and their gracious hospitality.
