GIH Manufacturing is looking for a reliable and proactive IT Officer to support our growing business operations and digital infrastructure. This is a great opportunity to work on real-world IT systems, infrastructure, and business applications in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

📍 Full-Time | On-Site | Batam, Indonesia

🔍 What You’ll Be Doing:
✔️ Administer and maintain company IT systems, networks, servers, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
✔️ Support user onboarding/offboarding, access rights, and account management.
✔️ Monitor system performance, backups, and IT asset inventory.
✔️ Assist in troubleshooting hardware, software, email, and network-related issues.
✔️ Manage website, business email, and domain-related configurations (DNS, SPF, DKIM, SSL/TLS).
✔️ Support cybersecurity practices including password policies, MFA, antivirus, and patching.
✔️ Coordinate with vendors for internet, hosting, software, and IT-related services.
✔️ Maintain documentation, SOPs, and IT operational records.
✔️ Participate in IT projects and digital initiatives across departments.

🚀 What We’re Looking For:
✔️ Minimum Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in IT (Informatics, Information Systems, or related field).
✔️ Minimum 1–2 years of experience in IT Support / System Administration.
✔️ Basic understanding of networking, servers, and troubleshooting (LAN, Wi-Fi, firewall).
✔️ Familiarity with web hosting, domain, and email systems (DNS, SPF, DKIM, etc.) is a plus.
✔️ Proficient in user and access management (user roles, onboarding/offboarding).
✔️ Basic knowledge of cybersecurity (password policy, MFA, antivirus, patching).
✔️ Experienced in system backup and monitoring.
✔️ Able to manage IT assets and software licenses.
✔️ Good communication and problem-solving skills.
✔️ Able to work independently as well as in a team.

IT Support

Responsibility :

• Provide day-to-day IT support for internal users (laptop, devices, and software issues).
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, including slow performance, system errors, and troubleshoot issues (Laptop).
• Handle installation, configuration, and maintenance of laptops, software, and office devices.
• Support setup and maintenance of office equipment IT-related devices.
• Ensure all IT equipment is functioning properly and perform regular checks/updates when needed.
• Assist in managing IT assets and maintain proper documentation.

Qualifications :

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field.

• Familiar with common operating systems (Windows/Mac) and basic software installation.
• Able to handle technical issues such as slow devices, system errors, and hardware troubleshooting.
