DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR

Requirements :
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/System/Management or related field.
- At least 2 years experience in managing large scale databases
- Required language : English
- Has experience with RHEL/CentOS
- Familiar with SQL Database technologies such as MySQL/MariaDB/PostgreSQL
- Has Experience with NoSQL database technologies such as MongoDB and couchbase is a plus
- Has experience with relational database performance tuning and capacity planning on SQL based environments

Responsibilities :
- Optimizing and managing database replication, incident handling, upgrades, migration, backup and recovery
- Monitoring database availability and performance
- Monitoring the slow queries and give the recommendation to improve the query through indexing, partitioning etc.
- Apply security to database deployments and operations
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
