Misha Egorov (Curve founder) dropped a new project. Media instantly shouted: “Impermanent Loss is gone forever!”.

But let’s be real. IL is not a bug, it’s math.
— HOLD a token → linear exposure.
— Provide LP → root curve. Less upside on pump, less pain on dump. But fees often cover it.

So IL isn’t “loss”, it’s just comparing strategies. Research shows more than half of LPs actually profit.

The real alpha is not “killing IL”. It’s that Yieldbasis = a new DeFi primitive.
