❶- أول من استخدم كلمة "nerd" هو الكاتب دكتور سيوس في أحد مؤلفاته، وكانت تُستخدم لوصف الطالب شديد التركيز على الدراسة، الذي يفتقر إلى المهارات الاجتماعية والخبرات الحياتية.
