➥ You usually use can before verbs connected with the senses.

⌦ Wish + past tense

❪✓❫ I wish I had more friends.
❪✘❫ I wish I have more friends.
❪✓❫ I wish I had sold my car.

➥ Use a past tense in the part of the sentence that comes after I wish, not a present tense.

⁵⁸🗣 It looks like + (noun)

You could be describing how something is similar or appears to be by the way it looks.

☃ Here are some examples

✦ It looks like a balloon.
يبدو وكأنهُ بالون.

✦ It looks like a jellyfish.
يبدو وكأنهُ قنديل البحر.

✦ It looks like a banana.
تبدو وكأنهـا موزة.

✦ It looks like a fish.
تبدو وكأنهـا سمكة.

You can also use 'it looks like' to describe something that might be in the future.

⛇ Here are some examples

✦ It looks like it's going to rain.
يبدو أنها سُتمطر.

✦ It looks like it's going to be fun.
يبدو أنهُ سيكون ممتعاً.

✦ It looks like it's going to be a long day.
يبدو أنه سيكون يوماً طويلاً.


You can also use it to describe something in the present tense.

✦ It looks like he is waving to us.
يبدو أنه يلوح لنا.

✦ It looks like she is lost.

➥ If you are considering doing something, you can say that you are thinking of doing it. Do not say that you are thinking to do something.

في حالة استخدام الأفعال المساعدة ought to, should, or must للتحدث بشأن شيء متوقع أن يحدث الآن، استخدم زمن المضارع التام ولا تستخدم شيئًا آخر، كما هو موضح في الأمثلة أعلاه.
