Sheikh I had missed my fasts of Ramadan due to my delivery at that time and than I was breast feeding also .I have fasted 4 than I was unable to fast due to breast feeding ..now I want to know that is it obligatory for me to fast the remaining 26 or fidyah is enough or both should be done ?if I have to give the fidyah than how much ?

❓Question:
I have a sister who approached me regarding the ruling on missed fasts during Ramadan.
She mentioned to me that she has not been fasting for the last two years during the month of Ramadan and now she feels the need to compensate for them. Her reason being her sickness and to be more specific, it was burdensome and tiresome for her to continue fasting for more than a day. She “looked very thin...and became very tired.” So her parents got really concerned for her health and they adviced her against fasting due to “the fear of becoming weak.” she is hardly 40 kgs and the fasting made her loose weight and she started to appear scrawly.

Based on this information, how should she proceed with her compensation? Should she make up by fasting the equal number of days or is she also required to pay fidyah?

❓Question:
1. Can you clarify if it is permissible to do ghusl in ramadan after one finishes her menses until Dhuhr salah and still be able to fast. My sister’s friends told her it’s permissible if she intends to fast that day then she can make wudhu between fajr and dhuhr and it would still be a valid fast. I have heard of something similar outside of ramadan regarding salah but not during ramadan and fasting.

2. Should one do ghusl immediately after being sure the menses has finished so to avoid missing salah that is required of them. Both during ramadan and outside of ramadan. If one delays the ghusl, is that person required to make up the salah or fasts missed as a result?

— Is it okay to have mint to keep my breath fresh during Ramadan?

— There is a friend of mine who is a new revert, his parents are not Muslim (hindu) and are unaware of his Islam. Is it permissible for him to avoid fasting on a few days here and there to avoid suspicion. He usually used the excuse of university work and comes home late, but he is unable to do this on the weekends.
Note that he doesnt think there will be very severe consequences if they found out, but they would likely make him break his fast or give him a hard time about him converting.
