Rejecting potential spouse due to race

What to do if my family are racist and completely against a suitable practising potential spouse who is known for their good akhlaq, and is rejected just because they are black'? I have heard a lot of dawah and watched many videos, spoken to a few sheikhs. All who put cultural standards and agree with parents saying 'black is not good', which as we all know racism is completely unacceptable in Islam. My parents have met him and said he is of good character but will not accept due to his caste and skin color. Most times I ask this question, people advise to speak to a local sheikh but the sheikhs say things that are out of order such as do not marry and to go to university first (I did not go due to the riba of the student loan). They have advised me that riba is fine as everyone is doing so. Which is not good at all. This has been ongoing for almost 2 years now and I am now contemplating to change my wali. Please give genuine advice with no personal opinion involved
