Excerpt from a message sent by Sheikha Umm ‘Abdillaah حفظها الله, regarding the matter of charging for lessons:

…Free, no payment of any kind. I say this as a reminder.
This is how the knowledge was passed down to us and this is how I was taught, and this is how we must endeavour to continue to pass on the knowledge…..free, no payment charged.

🔸I studied for more than 26 years under ash- Shaikh Muqbil رحمه الله and Ash-Shaikh Yahya Al-Hujoori and other shayukh in Darul Hadith Damaaj and beyond

Not one of them ever charged me money to learn from them.
They are ullama teaching bachelor’s level, masters level and PHD level disciplines…..if anyone has a right to charge money for classes it’s the ullama, however they DON’T, nor did the Salaf before us.…..actually they give from their wealth in order to facilitate their students education.

🔸THAT is the Salafi way.
🔸That is the example of our forefathers and their reward is with الله
🔸I advise and urge our teachers around the world, who charge money to teach basic Arabic and At-Tawheed, to join their fellow teachers which share what they have learned for free seeking reward from الله تعالى.

قال الله تعالى
{يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِن تَنصُرُوا اللَّهَ يَنصُرْكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَكُمْ }
