(After his death)

I saw him sitting on a different part of the Masjid (different to where he usually sits).

While I'm in the dream, I remember the Shaykh apologising to us, "I am sorry I extended the Dars (lesson) until 'Asr."

The Shaykh’s Durūs where usually very short; 10-15 minutes at most.

Anyway, as he's saying that, I see two large well-built men in nice suits with bright faces standing by his sides.

I thought to myself while I was in the dream, "Why am I in this dream?"

The people were all gathered, some sitting some standing. I was one of those people who were standing.

So the Shaykh got up, walked out. Also, the way he was dressed was different.

So, I went to ask a brother about the dream." ...

Who Is This Shaykh?

Shaykh Saʿīd Al-Hilayl, may Allāh preserve him, is one of the Salafi scholars of the Sunnah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia—may Allāh protect it. He resides in the province of Ḥāʾil, where he is regarded as its mufti. He delivers beneficial lessons and travels for daʿwah, including at the Ḥaramain.

He is distinguished among the scholars for his stance against the people of innovation and desires, and he has issued refutations against them based on clear proof and evidence. Some troublemakers and slanderers attempted to provoke him into speaking negatively about the scholars of Dammāj and sought to stir resentment in his heart against Shaykh Yaḥyā Al-Ḥajūrī. However, they gained nothing from him except sincere and kind advice. Despite visiting him multiple times, they returned empty-handed—by the grace of Allāh.

Shaykh Saʿīd is a devoted supporter of the Salafi daʿwah. He knows Shaykh Yaḥyā personally and has sat with him. He regularly asks about him, the daʿwah efforts, and the students, and he receives the latest updates regarding his statements. Whenever we communicate with him, he sends his greetings to them. He also maintains contact with a number of other scholars and students of knowledge. May Allāh reward him with goodness.
