Our Shaykh Abdulhameed az-Zoukory said:
One of the Salaf used to pray:
"O Allaah, conceal the faults of my teacher from me, so that he remains noble in my heart."
A student should pray for his teacher, seek his forgiveness, and appreciate his efforts.
As the saying goes:
"The teacher and the doctor are of no benefit if they are not honoured. So be patient with your illness if you insult your doctor and patient with your ignorance if you disrespect your teacher."
