The launch follows the introduction of GAC to the local market and reflects the company's commitment to bringing internationally recognized vehicle brands to Ethiopian consumers. Government officials, business leaders, diplomats, financial institutions, and industry stakeholders attended the event.

Company representatives said the investment aims to expand mobility choices while supporting the modernization of Ethiopia's automotive sector through advanced technology, professional after-sales services, and genuine spare parts. JUNTU announced that the JAECOO will start at 5.58 million birr ($34,900), while the OMODA will start at 5.9 million birr ($36,900).
