The African CityFood Month 2026 photography competition is currently accepting entries that highlight healthy food choices within urban environments across African cities.

To enter, participants must submit a brief title, a short narrative of up to 150 words, and a set of three distinct photographs capturing the food itself, the locations where it is sourced or consumed, and the people involved in preparing, serving, or eating it. The submission deadline for the contest is 17 June 2026, ahead of the official African CityFood Month event in July. Following the evaluation of entries, three chosen winners will each receive a cash prize of $500 USD. Full competition guidelines, eligibility criteria, and submission forms can be accessed directly through the official website at afrifoodlinks.org/photography-showcase.
