The event features a selection of 27 award-winning European films, alongside several Ethiopian short films. Additionally, the schedule includes film industry workshops, masterclasses led by professionals, and Q&A sessions with film directors and producers. Admission to all sessions is free of charge.
The festival is funded and organized by the Delegation of the European Union to Ethiopia, the Delegation of the European Union to the African Union, and the European Parliament, in collaboration with 23 EU Member States, guest countries, and Videobet Cinema.

the Italian Cultural Institute in Addis Ababa is hosting an exhibition titled "Dressing the Imaginary: Italian Ingenuity in Stage Costume Between Africa, the East, and Legend". Organized in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy in Addis Ababa and Costumi d'Arte Peruzzi, the creative project is conceived by Alessandra Carta and features stage costumes designed by costume designer Emanuele Zito.
The exhibition runs from October 20 to November 20, with an opening event scheduled for October 19 at 5:30 pm. Visitors can attend Monday through Friday between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm at the Italian Cultural Institute in Addis Ababa, and admission to the event is free.
