December 8, 1972. A routine Ethiopian Airlines flight to Paris turns into one of the most defining hijackings in the country's history. Seven students, barely older than the ones they used to sit beside in lecture halls, rise from their seats with pistols in hand and a revolution on their minds. They believed they were lighting a torch for equality. But at 29,000 feet, everything they had spent months planning began to unravel.
