A discussion on modernist architecture, heritage conservation, and the artistic process behind Addis Modern will take place on 13 June 2026, at 3:00 PM at Creative Hub Ethiopia.

The event will feature guest speakers Ephrem Nigusie, Conservation Architect and Heritage Specialist at EIABC, and Fkereselase Sifir of the World Monuments Fund and ICCROM, with moderation by Ermias Fikre of ETV.

The conversation will explore themes related to architectural heritage, preservation, and contemporary artistic perspectives.

An Art History Youth Camp is scheduled to take place from 29 June to 17 July, with daily sessions running from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Hosted at the Kikundi Gallery inside the Hilton Hotel, the program focuses on art-making activities, the study of prominent artists and historical artworks, and the exploration of art across diverse cultures and time periods.

The weekly schedule is divided by age group: participants aged 5 to 12 attend sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, while participants aged 13 to 19 attend on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Registration for the program is currently open to the public. The cost of attendance is set at 8000 Birr for the full three-week program, with a daily rate option available at 800 Birr.

Apply for the Accessibility, Inclusion and Diversity in the Performing Arts workshop, an initiative funded by the Spanish Cooperation in Ethiopia.

The training will take place from 27 to 31 July with an “arts for all” approach through the inclusion of people with disabilities, neurodivergent individuals, and those in vulnerable situations.

The training will be facilitated by Fernando López, an experienced dancer, choreographer, and philosopher from Madrid, Spain. Applications close June 30, 2026.
