The 20th edition of the Addis International Film Festival, organized by Initiative Africa, runs from 29 April 29 - 3 May 2026.
The event features over 20 global films screened across four venues: the Italian Cultural Institute, Alliance Éthio-Française, Goethe-Institut, and Videobet. The festival begins with an opening night on Wednesday, 29 April, at the Italian Cultural Institute, continues at all four locations on 1 and 2 May, and concludes back at the Italian Cultural Institute on 3 May.
Admission is free and includes complimentary refreshments for all attendees.
