The award-winning documentary "Jaha’s Promise" screens today, 9th February 2026, at Atmosphere.

The film documents the work of Jaha Dukureh, a Gambian activist involved in the global campaign against female genital mutilation (FGM). Her narrative serves as an exploration of human rights advocacy, social justice, and the impact of community-led initiatives.

The screening offers an opportunity to examine the complexities of human rights work and the role of collective action in driving social change.

Doors open at 4 PM and the film starts at 5 PM.
