Ethiopia Moves to Restrict Junk Food Advertising
Ethiopia has introduced a new Anti-Junk Food Bill aimed at curbing unhealthy eating habits, with provisions that restrict advertisements promoting sugary and processed foods, especially those targeting children.
The legislation seeks to address rising health concerns such as obesity and non-communicable diseases by limiting marketing influence and encouraging nutritious food choices nationwide.

The exhibition “Neger Be Misale, Tej Be Birille” at the historic Yimtubezina Museum showcased historian Ian Campbell’s remarkable collection of birilles, including pieces once owned by royalty.
More than just beautiful objects, they tell stories of identity, craftsmanship, and time.
