A rare opportunity to witness Ethiopia's royal past through film. In 1909, French cinematographer Charles Martel captured the last public appearance of Menelik Il, King of Kings. Eight years later, in 1917, Amedee Eywinger documented the coronation of Queen Zewlitu I.
