A rare opportunity to witness Ethiopia's royal past through film. In 1909, French cinematographer Charles Martel captured the last public appearance of Menelik Il, King of Kings. Eight years later, in 1917, Amedee Eywinger documented the coronation of Queen Zewlitu I.
These extraordinary moving images-among the earliest surviving films of Ethiopia-will be presented and commented on by historian and filmmaker Hugues Fontaine.

Developing Story
MusicInAfrica has retracted the news. Meedo Records has categorically denied the existence of any court case with Leake.
Below is the Response from Meedo's Senior Leadership on the Report:
"This isn’t a Supreme Court case; it’s a civil arbitration case happening between our lawyers and the arbitrators. To this day, we have not set foot inside any supreme courtroom, as this is a civil case. Why the artist and his inexperienced legal team are deliberately misguiding the audience with this fiction is unclear to us.
It's unfortunate that in the world of creative endeavors, some individuals resort to playing the victim or the "underdog" for media frenzy, attention, or as a clumsy attempt to alter public opinion. This is truly a pathetic path..."

As for the claims, as bogus as we believe they are, we submitted all evidence and information that we have to the arbitrators and judge, and they have more than enough to work with for now. We will share the complete details of this process once and for all when the case concludes as this is not a race to defamation and altering public opinion for us.
