Being a leader with great qualities.

We need to always remind ourselves,
that being a leader is not about having position.
But, it’s about responsibility and actions.
We can have the highest position but have no respect from people because respect is not valued from the level of our position,
But true respect is valued from our ability to inspire and show good example to others.
I used to think that being a leader requires me to be strict all the time.
But now I realised that I was wrong there.
I've learned that being a leader requires me to be understanding.
That is a thing that I should always keep in mind.
Be supportive and always be a good, proactive and cooperative leader and team player.
Always be willing to go for the extra mile and be kind,be helpful.
Be professional at all times and never let your personal life to interfere with your professional life.
Always be willing to learn and improve.
There are always great and wonderful things to be learned, so go for it!
This life is a gift, full of opportunity to learn new things every single day, so grab the opportunity !
Always keep in mind that β€œ Kritikan yang membina itu lebih baik daripada pujian yang menghanyutkan.” – Maka jangan terus menilai setiap kritikan sebagai sesuatu yang negatif dan setiap pujian pula sebagai sesuatu yang positif.Ia bergantung pada bagaimana diri kita menerimanya.
Having power can be one of your greatest and noble things, if you use it wisely.
It can be a platform for you to accomplish your goals, and help more people.
But if you use it wrongly, it can be your greatest shame and regrets.
It can be a terrible way to β€œkill” yourself and other people.
With great power,comes great responsibility.
Always remember that.
Make sure your intention is always right, sincere and pure.
Always strive to do your best in everything that you're doing.
Never lose your momentum.
You don’t have to spend your precious time to tell people that you’re a great leader,no.
Your actions will tell them everything.
A great leader is always a work in progress.
A great leader is shaped through process, culmination of effort and the willingness to learn and improve.
And as human, we are not perfect.
Nobody is perfect.
Therefore, there are times when we stumble and made mistakes.
They are unavoidable and are important parts of learning.
So, always put on your lense of reflection and always try to analyse and improvise from your past mistakes and failures.
That will make you a better individual and also a great leader in the future.

"A leader leads, a great leader inspires ".

This was from one of my lecturers, and I was very touched with her kind words...❀️ I'll never forget it and will make her proud. πŸ’ͺ

However,There are days when I feel like I'm not good enough to be a leader, and I'm sure you also ever experienced the same thing.
But then,I told myself,
There are so many people who have believed in me. I can't let them down.
So I get up and remind myself that.
I'm not a great leader,yet.
But I am always ready to learn and improve ,
And always strive to do my best ! πŸ’ͺ
Thanks to those who have always believed in me even during the days when there were loud whispers of doubt inside of my head.
Thank you,
for always believing in me .

With love,
Maslina.🌸
Stay safe everyone,no matter where you are ❀️
Even though I may not know who and where you are but
I pray that you and your family are always healthy and protected,Amin...🀲
We can through all these πŸ’ͺ
Never stop praying and never stop hoping 🀍
Assalammualaikum wbt and hi everyone, a lot of friends have been asking me how to be good in English. To be honest, I am still in the process of learning and improving my English. Too often, I also make mistakes, especially in grammar. We're all in the process of learning.
But, I'll share the tips that I practice in learning and improving my English. May it be beneficial to all of us. Insya-Allah.

First of all,
πŸ”‘ know why you need to learn English. Back then, I used to learn English just because I wanna pass that subject in my exams; UPSR, PT3, SPM.
But then I was asking myself " why do I need to learn English? "
I was wondering and questioning myself until one day, I realised something.
Lots of precious knowledge can be gained when we understand English. You can learn physics, mathematics, and many more as everything is almost in English these days. But one thing that opened my eyes is that with a good understanding of the English language I can learn more about my Deen, as many " Kuliyah " and Islamic books are available in the English language, making it understandable by people all across the world.

πŸ”‘ We can use it to spread Khayr (goodness) and ilm (knowledge).
When you write, you wanna produce something that is not only impactful and inspiring but also can be understood by many people despite having a different mother tongue.
With the English language, you can spread words that inform and inspire people all over the world.

πŸ”‘Next, to be able to communicate with people from different places.
Words are beautiful tools to transfer information and connect people.
By having a good grasp of English, we can communicate with other people from different backgrounds & places.

Okay, that was quite a lengthy explanation from me on the purposes of learning English from my perspective.
Now let's go through the tips ( the tips are applicable even if you're from a beginner level ) :

βœ… Know the basic words in English (such as cat, football, happy, etc).
(Having a dictionary is truly recommended)

βœ… Understand basic grammar (I used to learn through grammar reference books but now, with many videos teaching grammar available on YouTube, it helps a lot).

βœ… Write a lot. (I mean, not just write the essay for your homework, but write simply because you wanna write. For example, you can write a diary, letter or blog in English.)

βœ… Listen a lot (to podcasts, songs, but please be selective of the songs that you are listening to. Don't listen to songs that have bad messages or cursing words in them. What we listen to will influence who we are.
I love to listen to Nasyeed and motivational songs in English. Not only that it helps me to polish my English listening skills but also help me to calm & energise my soul.)

βœ… Read a lot (when you read, you'll learn new words & see how sentences are structured. This will help us to be more familiar with English words)

βœ… Speak in English (when you speak, you'll apply all the knowledge that you have learned, the words, the grammar, etc). But, of course, sometimes we made mistakes by pronouncing some words incorrectly, and then some people laugh at us. Well, you shouldn't be ashamed of that. You should be proud of how brave you are to try.
Remember, mistakes are proof that you are trying.

Yes, I know that those tips seem to be very cliche but that is it. Those are the tips that I applied and it has helped me to improve a lot. There are no other shortcuts in learning & improving English. It just doesn't happen overnight.
It's an accumulation of hard work and effort for years.

Here some bonus tips :
πŸ’‘Ask for help from others
-don't be afraid to ask for help from your teachers and friends if there is something that you don't know or unclear about.

πŸ’‘Teach others
- yes, teaching others can help you to improve your English. You don't even need to know every grammar rule or the definition for all the words in the dictionary to teach others. Just share the things that you have learned. For example, today you learned about the idiom "as happy as a clam".
