Yesterday at the President Hotel in Moscow, the closed founding congress of AOCEV took place — an association that's aiming to become the first SRO for crypto exchangers and services.

Over a hundred representatives from the industry, government bodies, and the professional community gathered. Reps from our service and 1984 VPN from the VALE club were also at the meeting.

The main topic: how crypto exchangers should operate in the new legal reality — Central Bank requirements, compliance, the transition period, and future SRO rules.

On September 1, the main part of the new law No. 282-FZ came into force, essentially starting to move the crypto exchange market from a semi-grey industry into a regulated financial business.

We think one phrase fits perfectly here — that September 1 became "the most important day in the history" of Russian crypto.

The market is finally growing up.
