Today is Veteran's Day.

Every Veteran took the following oath:
"I do solemnly affirm that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the president of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Our freedom of speech is under attack...
Our freedom of religion is under attack...
Our freedom of assembly is under attack...

Our freedom to petition the government for redress of grievances is under attack...
Our right to be secure in our persons, houses, papers and effects is under attack...

The rule of law itself is under attack as those who have violated our election laws are not being held accountable.

It is time that all Americans, be they veterans or not, honor the sacrifices of those who have come before us to secure for us the blessings of liberty.
It is time to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic.
This support and defense starts with ensuring that we read and study the Constitution. We cannot defend that which we do not understand.
Once we understand what we are defending, we need to exert the rights guaranteed to us under this Constitution. If that means disobedience to civil authorities seeking to infringe upon those rights so be it. They forfeit their civil authority when they forfeit the constitution by which they derive such authority.
Every American needs to go beyond saying "Thank you for your service". We need to show them appreciation for their service. We need to honor the sacrifices of those who served us in the military by sharing their burden of the support and defense of our Constitution as civilians.
How can we promote the support and defense of our Constitution as civilians? We are now in an information war. We need to push beyond the censorship and ridicule. We can win this war by sharing the truth. The truth shall set us free.
We Americans have been blessed with a special gift...freedom.
On this Veteran's Day and beyond, let us not take this freedom for granted!

I didn't know that Kyle did not cross state lines with a gun he wasn't supposed to have. The rightful gun owner did, as he was legally permitted to do.
I also didn't realize that Rosenbaum was a 5 time convicted child rapist and that Huber was a 2 time convicted woman beater. I didn't know that Grosskreutz was a convicted Burglar with an assault on his record also.
