IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi is currently holding an assessment and approving plans for Lebanon, the military says.

The meeting is attended by the deputy chief of staff and the chiefs of the Northern Command, Military Intelligence Directorate, Operations Directorate, Air Force, and other generals.

Defense Minister Yoav Gallant says Hezbollah will face the consequences of its deadly attack on Majdal Shams yesterday "even with its ridiculous denials."

📹 Lebanon: The spiritual authority of the Druze monotheist sect, Sheikh Abu Youssef Amin Al-Sayegh, issued a video message in the wake of the tragic incident in Majdal Shams.

He calls on the Druze to be alert to attempts to “plant sedition” and “separate them from their surroundings,” and to “not allow those with temptations (the Jews ) to exploit this wound.”

📸 The person in this video who's trying to incite a regional war, in the wake of the Majdal Shams incident yesterday, is NOT from Majdal Shams and is NOT a Golani Druze.

He is an Israeli Druze from Daliyat al-Karmel who writes for a Karmel Druze news website. All over Israeli media he's portrayed as a local demanding war.

⭕️ In its first statement today, Hezbullah attacked and damaged a house in Al-Manara settlement as a response to the many Israeli aggressions yesterday night.

📹 Two rockets were launched from Lebanon at the northern border community of Shtula a short while ago, the IDF says.

One of the rockets struck a home. There are no reports of injuries.

Hezbollah takes responsibility this attack, as response to the Israeli aggression on Lebanese villages.

📄 A member in Hezbullah's military media say that their denial about the involvement in the incident in Majdal Shams is clear.

And that any attack by Israel that breaks the rules of engagement will be treated on par by breaking the rules of engagement by the party.

✍ My two-cents on this clown show:

1- If Israel assess its retaliation will lead to war, and they are ready for that, they will not limit this to retaliatory attack only.

2- Fear about the outcomes is legitimate for others, normal citizens, but know well Hezbullah is calm and strong.
