Israel is demanding that the Lebanese army not fill the void of an Israeli withdrawal and ensure Hezbullah does not come back...

...but rather is demanding the Lebanese army starts taking over areas where the IDF did not reach during the war and disarm Hezbullah and demolish any infrastructure.

Only then, and after the whole South is cleared, Israel can consider maybe reducing its footprint in Lebanon partially.

They do not want to abandon the security zone. Not before many years from today.
