- قالوا لنا إن أميركا تضمن الاتفاق، فضمنت اتفاق 27-11، لكنها تنصّلت منه لاحقًا وقالت إنها لم تضمنه.

- الصبر كان جزءًا من الميدان لأن الخيار كان محسومًا، وانتقلنا من الصبر في الميدان إلى القتال في الميدان، لأننا اعتبرنا أن التوقيت والظروف كانا مناسبين في الثاني من آذار، وتبيّن أننا دخلنا في حركة الاستناد إلى إيران.

- الحمد لله، استطعنا أن نصل إلى هذه المرحلة، وكان التوقيت والخيار وخوض المعركة وكل الخطوات مهمّة جدًا، إذ أثمرت الميدان لمصلحة ما حصل الآن من وقفٍ لإطلاق النار، على أن تتبعها خطوة الانسحاب من الأراضي اللبنانية.

- نشكر إيران، ونقول لها إنها من أشرف الشرفاء في العالم.

President General Joseph Aoun received a phone call this afternoon from U.S. Vice President JD Vance and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, during which they discussed the latest developments related to the situation in Lebanon and the post-Switzerland meetings phase.

Vice President Vance and Secretary Rubio reaffirmed the United States’ support for the positions of the President of the Republic and the Lebanese government in their efforts to extend the authority of the legitimate state and strengthen its national sovereignty over all Lebanese territory through the Lebanese Army and security forces alone, while enabling them to fulfill their commitments in this regard.

Important part highlighting Iranian success:

Vance and Rubio also stressed that the United States will continue to follow up on the implementation of the understandings reached during the Switzerland meetings, including the formation of a joint cell composed of the United States, Lebanon, and the Islamic Republic of Iran to consolidate the ceasefire in Lebanon and monitor the implementation of the related measures.

They noted that arrangements concerning the cell’s mandate and the manner of its formation are currently under study.

President Aoun thanked the U.S. Vice President and Secretary of State for the attention the United States is giving to Lebanon with the aim of ending the war, strengthening the authority of the Lebanese state, and preserving the independence of its decision-making, as the sole entity responsible for safeguarding national sovereignty, the dignity of the Lebanese people, and their security and safety.
