Btw folks

Hezbullah defeated the Syrians in every single major battle they fought on their own homeland.

Infantry vs infantry even in this heavily bloodied and damaged Hezbullah, Lebanese can still triumph and if the Syrians invade the Lebanese army will 100% fight them

The Iraqis might hit a bit too

So yes, I don't think the Syrians are stupid to invade nor do I think the Syrians want to invade.

Trump is not threatening Lebanon by Syria but Israel, in a way like: your turn ended, give someone else the turn to try.

Honestly, no one is thinking how to actually disarm Hezbullah in a way it works. Literally everyone is doing the opposite to force Hezbullah to never disarm no matter the costs.

You do not push into the corner someone who is offered to die by the sword or knife.

Last time I visited Syria it felt like a place who life is sucked out of it, a place with nothing but sadness, misery, cruelty and extreme ignorance

Let's both stay away from each other please

Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa on Trump and Lebanon:

President Trump expressed his displeasure with what is currently happening in Lebanon and was looking for ways to stop the war in Lebanon.

He then said that there could be a role for Syria in Lebanon in the search for a security solution.

The statement was interpreted as if Syrian forces would enter Lebanon the next morning, and that is not what was meant.

From President Trumpโ€™s statement, the answer is that he was expressing frustration with what is happening in Lebanon and looking for other solutions, and that there could be a positive role for Syria through the Lebanese state and Lebanese institutions.

WATCH: Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa on Lebanon:

Today, the situation in Lebanon requires joint solutions, and it is entirely possible to rely on Syria in the search for a security path toward a solution.

But this does not mean war, nor does it mean a return to the previous image of Syrian tutelage during the former regime's era in Lebanon.

Rather, it means supporting the Lebanese state, strengthening its institutions, and building channels of communication among the political parties and active forces in Lebanon, including Hezbollah, in search of a security solution that everyone can accept.

Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa on Hezbollah:

If the need arises for us to sit with Hezbollah, I believe in dialogue, yes.

Even between opposing parties, dialogue should remain open and continue even during war, conflict, and confrontation, because the alternative is war.

Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa on Lebanon:

Why is Lebanon always forced to choose between civil war and an Israeli war? Why can there not be a third option?

Let us search for a third option and reach an agreement within Lebanon to move beyond the current crises into a stable environment, especially now that the Syrian situationโ€”which for years was a major pressure on Lebanese politicsโ€”has changed completely.

Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa on Lebanon:

I believe that the Shiite community today is in greater need than ever of a rescue effort within the Lebanese situation, and together with it we must rescue Lebanon.

God knows that I care deeply about this issue, because the loss of any component of Lebanon is a loss for the entire region.

I do not subscribe to the idea that all Shiites in Lebanon are Hezbollah, nor that Hezbollah represents all Shiites in Lebanon.
