❗️ Lebanon's President and Iran's MFA had a call tonight

President Joseph Aoun received a phone call this evening from Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, during which they discussed current regional developments and several issues of mutual interest.

During the call, President Aoun welcomed the understanding reached between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States, expressing his hope that it would constitute a positive step towards reducing tensions and paving the way for diplomatic solutions that contribute to strengthening security and stability at both the regional and international levels.

They also emphasized the importance of continuing political and diplomatic efforts aimed at consolidating sustainable stability in the region, which will positively impact its countries and peoples..

The Lebanese President stressed that Lebanon's stability, security, and sovereignty remain a national priority.

Iran's Minister Araqchi also emphasized the importance of all parties respecting Lebanon's sovereignty and territorial integrity, expressing his hope that the positive atmosphere created by this understanding will contribute to supporting stability in Lebanon and enhancing its opportunities for recovery and prosperity.

From what I can understand is that a real ceasefire is now enforced in Lebanon

Iran has a 60-day negotiation period with the U.S

Just maybe during those days an Israeli withdrawal can be enforced by the U.S Iranian agreement that will discuss the technical details of the MoU

- The ceasefire clause must be implemented and applied in full immediately, from day one, and throughout the 60-day negotiation period.

- Ensuring compliance with this clause is the responsibility of the United States and the guarantors of the Memorandum of Understanding.
