أكد رئيس مجلس الشورى الإسلامي ورئيس الوفد المفاوض الإيراني محمد باقر قاليباف، خلال اتصال هاتفي مع رئيس مجلس النواب اللبناني نبيه بري، أن حزب الله وحركة أمل يدافعان اليوم عن أرضهما وعن الأمة الإسلامية، مشددًا على أن العلاقة بين إيران ولبنان علاقة راسخة لا تنفصم، وأن «دمنا ودمكم واحد».

وقال قاليباف إن الجهود خلال اليومين الماضيين تركزت على وقف الهجمات الإسرائيلية، محذرًا من أنه في حال استمرار الاعتداءات، فإن إيران لن تكتفي بوقف مسار المفاوضات، بل ستقف في مواجهة الكيان الصهيوني.

وأضاف أن إيران مصممة على تثبيت وقف إطلاق النار في جميع أنحاء لبنان، ولا سيما في جنوبه.

وأشار إلى أن أي اتفاق محتمل لإنهاء الحرب بين إيران والولايات المتحدة سيشمل وقف الهجمات على مختلف الجبهات، وخصوصًا في لبنان.

من جهته، أعرب نبيه بري عن تقديره لجهود الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية الرامية إلى وقف الاعتداءات الإسرائيلية، مؤكدًا أن لبنان لن ينسى المواقف الإيجابية التي اتخذتها إيران في هذه المرحلة الحساسة.
