Very true and expected as I mentioned before.

FPVs aren't mature enough to stop advances and there is no one who can effectively stop an advance of a tank column and APCs upwards where the Israeli army had levelled all houses on the ridge and bombed the town with hundreds of airstrikes over the weeks.

Defense is very hard and never had Lebanon ever built any defenses like trenches and so on. Just not feasible I guess.

What's needed inshallah is exerting a toll and wounding the Israeli forces here and making them pay a grave price. Sabotage any attempt to demolish anything.

And if they settle, treat it as another Bayada or Rchaf.

And most importantly, preserve the lives of fighters.

What top Israeli officials are quietly backing is not a reduction in American support, but a reorganization of it: shifting billions in resources from State Department–administered foreign aid grants into general Pentagon procurement accounts, industrial partnerships, and sustainment pipelines.

The shift will strip away the political and diplomatic oversight mechanisms that make the relationship publicly accountable, moving it from a visible annual aid vote into the opaque machinery of defense acquisition, where oversight is limited and political accountability is minimal.

The result would be a defense relationship that is simultaneously deeper and less transparent.
