Someone please help me understand the Mentality of the Israelis

They attack south Lebanon with mors than a 100 airstrike a day (massive number) and have demolished all border towns and continue to evacuate towns as far as Sidon province

Yet they call what they are doing inline of a ceasefire and that Hezbullah's attack today that damaged a house in Metula or idk what settlement is a grave issue and that this is not a ceasefire anymore and that the hands of the IDF are being tied.

I mean the only thing they are not doing is destroying empty civilian residential buildings in Beirut to exert a financial toll on Shia and their homes.

Everything else they are doing folds more than during the war.

✍ They act as if they are doing nothing here. If this is the narrative they give while having the upper hand and doing what they are doing in Lebanon, imagine how they fabricated their narration about the past and history

The IDF is very deep in Lebanon and is not able to resolve the conflict because they dug deep with no a day-after goal

They have two option:
- Find an exit by announcing a true ceasefire and pretending nothing happened and end hostilities

- Advance deeper into Lebanon

Both are bitter solutions for them because digging deeper because Israeli forces in Lebanon will continue to be attacked by FPVs and drones. This is a weapon with no boundary.

The IDF cannot dig deep to reach Beqaa or the north. Therefore this threat will not end with this solution

Not that FPVs in my opinion are enough to drive the Israeli out yet, especially that they are not many attacks to achieve so. To explain my point here: Notice those time intensive netting being placed on buildings? FPVs always came after instead of during. This delay costs.

Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon timed through an agreement like in 2024 on the condition that Hezbullah disarms in south Lebanon and allows the Lebanese army to spread is the IDFs only path out.

Unlike 2024, no further attacks to be allowed else this war will not end.

Its high time the IDF accepts it will not be able to root out Hezbullah and should accept a humble win of weakening it.
