بحقده الأعمى وإجرامه المعهود ووحشيته اللامتناهية، التي أصبحت طبيعة متأصلة لديه، ارتكب العدو الإسرائيلي اليوم سلسلة مجازر متنقلة بحق المدنيين الآمنين، مستهدفًا بعشرات الغارات الوحشية المناطق المدنية في الضاحية الجنوبية والعاصمة بيروت، وفي صيدا والجنوب والبقاع، وموقعًا مئات الشهداء والجرحى من الأطفال والنساء والشيوخ.

إن هذا العدوان الهمجي الذي يمثل في كل محطة من محطاته جرائم حرب موصوفة وجرائم إبادة جماعية باستهدافه أماكن مدنية مكتظة وأسواق ومحلات تجارية في ساعات الذروة، ليس إلا محاولة يائسة للانتقام من المواطنين المدنيين بعد فشل كل محاولات كسر هذا الشعب الأبي وإخضاعه، حيث أثبت أهلنا الشرفاء وأبناء البلد أن وحشية العدوان لم تزدهم إلا صمودًا وثباتًا وتمسكًا بخيار المقاومة، مهما قدموا من تضحيات جسام.

إن هذا الإجرام المتفلت هو تعبير واضح عن الخيبة التي مُني بها العدو بعد فشله الذريع في تحقيق أي من أهدافه ومخططاته على مختلف الجبهات، وبعد أن وجد نفسه محاصرًا بحقيقة هزيمته، وعاجزًا ومكبلًا عن تغيير المعادلات التي فرضها صمود شعبَي إيران ولبنان، وتعبير عن حالة الانهيار والتخبط والارتباك التي يعيشها هذا الكيان المأزوم وجيشه المهزوم بفعل ضربات المجاهدين.

إننا نؤكد أن دماء الشهداء والجرحى لن تذهب هدرًا، وأن مجازر اليوم كما كل الاعتداءات والجرائم الوحشية، تؤكد على حقنا الطبيعي والقانوني بمقاومة الاحتلال والرد على عدوانه، وستزيدنا إصرارًا على المقاومة والمواجهة لكبح جماح العدو والدفاع عن أهلنا ووطننا وحماية أمننا في وجه العدوان المستمر.

Today's massacres, like all acts of aggression and brutal crimes, underscore our natural and legal right to resist the occupation and respond to its aggression. They will only strengthen our resolve to resist and confront the enemy, to deter its aggression, and to defend our people and our homeland, protecting our security in the face of this ongoing aggression.’
