Hezbullah has the fighters with skills and tools, has the motivation, and has the will. As for the people, they are aching now, but will be soothed with a single success; this is what separates a good tree from one rotten at the core.

A single factor that would also play in Hezbullah's favor is an Iranian ceasefire that includes Lebanon, and more importantly, Iran's survival. It will give Hezbullah the life it needs to overcome the challenges in Lebanon against the traitorous government. I explained in a different thread the impact of Syria. Hezbullah without Iran is no longer possible as an armed resistance, because non-state actors can only exist if the states supporting them do.

Your role during this war is to ensure the population has the means to stay patient until the war objectives are achieved, and only with this war ending with true calm in south Lebanon can the risk of war be avoided in recent upcoming months and years again. Stability brings about stability. I do understand that Hezbullah's choice is not a popular one in Lebanon, especially for non-Shia locals, but this is a topic for another day. Hezbullah is the sole reason why Lebanon has not made peace with Israel; a stance the are being punished for now, but hopefully one day history will acknowledge as the true moral choice. This war will have highs and lows, but at the end of the day, Israel's objectives are not destined and Israel, like any other country or empire, will be have highs and lows too.

This war might be what offsets the catastrophic and devastating repercussions of the 7-October war.

Let me say something, yes it is wrong to assume any damaged tank is lost, Israeli tanks are very heavy and can be repaired. Not as vulnerable as Soviet tanks.

However, you are foolish to believe that Hezbullah didn't successfully hit and damage several tanks, even destroy a couple.

If you wait and expect the IDF to acknowledge any material losses, especially tanks, you are as delusional as anyone you are attacking.

The IDF did not acknowledge a Hermes-450 loss over Lebanon despite Hezbullah sharing clear evidence. No one was able to photograph wreckage.

Yet you expect them to acknowledge what they can hide? Grow up and mature.

عمدت قوّات اللواء السابع التابع للفرقة 36 في جيش العدوّ الإسرائيليّ أمس الأوّل الثلاثاء، 26/3/206، إلى تسيير جرّافة بالتحكّم عن بُعد بين منطقة المحيسبات في الطيبة وبلدة القنطرة، بهدف استطلاع وكشف تموضعات دفاعات المقاومة الإسلاميّة، فرصدها المجاهدون وأمهلوها بغية استدراج العدوّ إلى كمينٍ مُحكم.
وعند الساعة 18:50 أمس الأربعاء تقدّمت سريّة مدرّعات، بنسق طوليّ، من جهة المحيسبات باتّجاه بلدة القنطرة تمهيدًا للسيطرة عليها. انتظر المجاهدون الذين كانوا يرصدون حركة العدوّ حتى أصبحت كلّ آلياته ضمن حقل الرماية المُحكم، وعند صدور الأمر، وبنداء يا رسول الله، أطلق الرماة الماهرون صواريخهم الموجّهة باتّجاه الفصيل الأوسط من النسق، المؤلّف من 4 دبّابات ميركافا وجرّافة D9، فأصابوها بدقّة ما أدّى إلى تدميرها.
وفيما كان الفصيل الخلفيّ المؤلّف من 4 دبّابات ميركافا يُطلق غطاء دخانيًّا كثيفًا لإخفاء تموضعه، عاجله المجاهدون مجدّدًا بالصواريخ الموجّهة فدمّروا استعداده كاملاً أمام أعينهم التي رصدت الدبابات تحترق. تزامنًا مع الاشتباك كانت مجموعات الإسناد التابعة لسلاح المدفعيّة في المقاومة تستهدف المقرّات القياديّة للكتائب المعادية المتموضعة في مشروع الطيبة ورب ثلاثين والعويضة، وكذلك قوّات التعزيز التي استُقدمت لإخلاء الإصابات.
حاول فصيل المقدّمة مواصلة التقدّم باتّجاه مدخل بلدة القنطرة فتصدّى له مجاهدونا بالصواريخ المباشرة ودمّروا جرّافة D9 ودبّابة ميركافا، إضافة إلى تدمير دبّابة ثانية قرب الخزّان، ما دفع جنود العدوّ إلى ترك باقي الآليّات ومحاولة سحب الإصابات والفرار سيرًا على الأقدام باتّجاه منطقة المحيسبات.
تمكن المجاهدون من إفشال مناورة العدوّ وكبّدوا قوّاته خسارة حصيلتها 10 دبّابات وجرّافتا D9، كما كانوا أفشلوا محاولةً مماثلة قبل يومين من بلدة الطيبة باتّجاه بلدة دير سريان مدمّرين 8 دبّابات ميركافا.

Advance attempt happened from Taybeh project (small part south of the town not town itself as mentioned before).

Israel send a lonely remote controlled D-9 to scout Hezbullah ATGMs as a bait. Hezbullah did not engage and let it pass

IDF sent tanks and D-9s now, all manned. They were allowed to pass until they reached the ATGM ambush point. Attacked.

The Israeli army acknowledges that one soldier from the Golani Brigade's Reconnaissance Unit was shot dead in a gunfire exchange with Hezbullah in south Lebanon

Another was lightly wounded in the incident.
