Trump decided to go to war with Iran largely under pressure from outside allies like Benjamin Netanyahu and Rupert Murdoch, while his own advisers offered little direct opposition.

Look

I think the situation here is that he knew to take Hormoz he needs to do an invasion that will be very costly that will affect the upcoming U.S elections and drag him into a much longer war

Once you send some troops you have to send more. Eventually are in too deep to not produce spectacular results

The threat here is very dangerous because this is collective punishment against millions of Iranians. A war crime that the U.S congress and house should not allow.

Iranians will retaliate and hit the Gulf states, as they are U.S allies and arr enablers for the U.S war.

This will create unprecedented chaos. Very avoidable

However I feel that this is a possible offramp for this war. This might lead to a ceasefire, with Trump claiming we made them surrender and Iranians claim we stopped the war through pressure.

Hormoz is hurting him even though he kept saying we don't need Hormuz. He kept lying and bluffing and acting nothing like a statesman.

A very dangerous threat

Iran's Foreign Minister Araghchi to Kyodo:

We do not accept a ceasefire. We do not want the scenario of last year to be repeated.

We want a complete, comprehensive, and sustainable end to the war. The only acceptable solution… is a complete end to the war.

There must be guarantees that this situation will not be repeated.

The damages… must be compensated.

I read today somewhere that the U.S administration might "compensate" by simply giving the Iranians their frozen money.

So much chatter.

As mentioned a couple of days ago, the war entered into a stalemate with only the Israelis left with goals that they are simply: scorched earth.

Trump has to take a decision in the upcoming 1-2 weeks.... even sooner. End the war and make a reasonable deal or commit for an invasion to try to take Tehran

🇨🇺⚡️📉❗️ — Cuba’s electric grid collapses for second time in week, sending nearly 11 million into blackout

This is due to the unjust U.S embargo.

Trump is making 11 million suffer. Do you understand how hard it is to live two weeks without any power? The impact not only on people but on the economy and society as a whole?

There was a Chinese fuel ship that was supposed to arrive but did a U-turn under threat.

A Russian one is on the way but needs more time.

Cuba, support its regime or no, such collective punishment is cruel and evil

For the second time this morning, Iranian cluster ballistic missiles successfully impact various areas around Tel Aviv

While the missile should have been intercepted by the Patriot system from Jordan or Gulf, or U.S ships in the med sea, or Israel's Arrow 2-3

The cluster bombs should have been engaged by the Iron Dome. Something we aren't seeing
