ππ«β½οΈ Some African countries are weeks away from running out of gas
The Persian Gulf was once a dependable, steady and conveniently located fuel supplier to meet Africaβs steadily rising demand.
Most of the diesel thatβs shipped out of the Strait of Hormuz usually headed to the continent.
The US-Israel strikes on Iran have changed all that β effectively closing the crucial maritime chokepoint and leaving a gigantic fuel hole for developing nations to fill.
Eastern and southern African nations rely on the Middle East for three quarters of supply. Kenya is particularly at risk, having renewed a contract with heavyweights Aramco, Adnoc, and Enoc β all from the Gulf β just last year.
Adding to the grim outlook are the scores of refineries from Mombasa and Lusaka to Durban and Limbe that have shut over the past decade, serving as monuments to a lack of investment.
Several projects have been pitched in recent years to build new capacity, but plants have remained closed. South Africa stands as the most severe example, with domestic refining being cut in half.
Billionaire Aliko Dangoteβs 650,000 barrel-a-day plant has ramped up fast after initial construction delays, yet it wonβt be able to make up for supply that comes from the Gulf, especially after meeting commitments in its home market, Nigeria.
Prices will soon be β or have already been β hiked, driving inflation and setting back hopes of lower interest rates. Costs are set to climb sharply when South Africa does its monthly adjustment in April β diesel is seen spiking to a record β and thereβs not much the Treasury can do about it.
Smaller countries also suffer from chronic foreign-exchange shortages that will hold up fuel deliveries, while strategic oil storage is a luxury few governments can afford or even want to spend money on.
The war has triggered a scramble by African nations to find new sources of petroleum, putting strained budget and fragile economic recoveries at risk.
Many are merely weeks away from pumps running dry, with bigger and more powerful economies ahead in the queue.

Tonight the Iranian ballistic missiles successfully penetrates Israeli defenses. At least 2-3 of them tonight
They caused a lot of damage around Israel.
Unfortunately one sub-munition landed in the West Bank killing about 4 Palestinian woman.
Another Thai worker was killed in central Israel

β The war can end in 1 hour if the Arabs tell Israel and U.S they are not allowed to fly over their airspace to attack Iran.
That's all it takes.
πΈπ¦Saudi Foreign Minister: We will take the appropriate decisions to defend our country and our resources.
Saudi Foreign Minister: If Iran believes that the Gulf states are incapable of responding, its calculations are wrong.

Clown,
I literally said what "they acknowledged".
Find any death? Prove it.
As for the 2-3 deaths that happened, were before the Israeli ground raids and invasion start.

Lol. He knew it's a screw up because the damage will be big on U.S allies and the global economy
Trump giving reign for the Israelis is damaging the whole middle east. It's destroying our world.
π° President Trump wants no more strikes on Iranian energy sites after Israel's attack on Iran's South Pars gas field, according to US officials - WSJ
Trump supported today's attack, but now believes "Tehran got the message"

βοΈThe Pentagon has asked the White House to approve a more than $200 billion request to Congress to fund the ongoing Iran War
It is described asan enormous new ask that is almost certain to run into serious resistance from Democrats and Republicans in Congress.
The amount being requested would far surpass the costs of the Trump Administrationβs massive airstrike campaign against Iran to date and instead seek to urgently increase production of critical weaponry expended by the U.S. Army, Air Force, and Navy in strikes against and defending from attacks by Iran

Kuwait arrested 10 more locals, all Shia Kuwaiti, claiming they are part of terrorist organizations
They had religious and political books. Some posters supportive of the resistance and no weapons.
Kuwait's war on Shia continues. What do we expect from a country that labeled 4-6 hospitals in Lebanon as terrorist locations because they were funded by Hezbullah.
Literal hospitals.
May God help those who are being imprisoned, as prison is more suffocating and painful than death

Israeli helicopters are firing machine-gun bursts toward the town of Al-Taybeh, accompanied by heavy artillery fire in support of the force that fell into an ambush involving ATGM
The majority of Israeli attacks take place at night because they leverage their night vision tools from soldier sights to various weapons and cameras
Hezbullah has night vision sights, but no where enough to arm enough people with it.

Trump and other officials today at Dover Air Force Base, for the transfer of the six airmen and officers who were killed in last weekβs crash of a U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker in Western Iraq.
