"This morning, at St. Domit Church in Bourj Hammoud, the President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, offered his condolences on the martyrdom of Father Pierre al-Rahi, the parish priest of Al-Qleiaa, who was killed as a result of the Israeli shelling that struck the town a few days ago."

๐ฐ MizarVizion released satellite images showing the locations of the USS Gerald R. Ford and USS Abraham Lincoln.
The USS Gerald R. Ford moved further south, but remained in the Central Red Sea off the coast of Jeddah, far outside the range of Houthi missiles.
The USS Abraham Lincoln meanwhile retreated to the southwestern part of Oman, off the coast of Salalah, putting more than 1.100 km (~720 miles) between it and Iran after one of the Abraham Lincoln's escorts was attacked by Iranian gunboats earlier this week.
The USS Abraham Lincoln was at the beginning of the week, less than 350km (~218 miles) off Iran's coast.

As a part of ongoing posts encompassing a wide range of Islamic topics, this channel would like to introduce a new, long overdue series on Southern Lebanese scholarship.
Among the earliest Shi'a demographics in Islamic history are the Lebanese, who trace back to the early Islamic period. During the time of the companions of the Noble Prophet (SAWS), Sh'ia Islam was widespread in the Levant with some sources attributing this to prominent figures such as Abu Dharr Al-Ghifari. Since this period, the Lebanese have been the flagbearers for Shi'ism, and have laid the foundations for our faith through their scholarly endeavours, cultivated by an unwavering loyalty to the Holy Progeny (AS).
For centuries, South Lebanon (Jabal 'Amil) and the Bqaa' region have been at the forefront of Islamic scholarship, contributing exceptionally to Shi'i thought. Across all the Islamic sciences, the reader will find them a pioneer and an authority in the development of these subject matters. We find that in Islamic philosophy, Shaykh Al-Baha'i Al-'Amili made significant contributions that are still a matter of discussion today in seminaries. In Islamic law, the efforts of Shahid al-Awwal al-Jezzine and Shahid al-Thani al-Jbaa'i are unmatched in their detail and comprehensiveness, such that their works are studied extensively as a pathway to attaining elevated ranks in Islamic scholarship. The exhaustive and comprehensive list of scholars tracing back to Lebanon who have safeguarded the Shi'a faith calls for a dedicated tribute in recognition of their efforts.
A successful biographical compilation of around 200 Lebanese scholars was produced by the great authority Al-Hurr al-Amili, titled Amal al-Amil fi Ulama Jabal Amil (ุฃู ู ุงูุขู ู ูู ุนูู ุงุก ุฌุจู ุนุงู ู), in which he includes personalities contemporary to the Imams (AS) up to his own era. This esteemed work contains both concise and detailed entries on these figures and pioneers of the Islamic faith.
This channel, therefore, attempts to present a humble translation of this work in dedication to the religious efforts of Lebanonโideologically, politically, legally, and beyond. Posts will primarily revolve around this great book, with occasional supplementary commentary and sources where appropriate.
Please keep Lebanon in your prayers.

Funny how people who fought Palestinian militias and the Syrian army in Lebanon think they have a wise opinion about how war is and ridicule Hezbullah efforts
Boy you fought against civilians, then ragtag Palestinian militias and a corrupt Syrian army that rarely ever knew what professionalism is.
Do you compare your civil war with a fight against the 2nd most advance air force in the world and one of the best armies in the world on all aspects
No one said its a fair fight, no one said the results are optimal nor has anyone said we are capable enough after the past mishaps
The technological gap only ever got bigger and modern warfare is the most lethal in history. One weapon purchase for Israel in a month is bigger than the yearly budget of Hezbullah as a whole organization.
But ridiculing is pathetic. Worse? We wouldn't be in such a weak position had we not been the only damn community at war for 50+ years
And dare you not claim we are fighting because of the Iranians. It is the Iranians that gave us a chance to put on a fight even if it was what we see today.
Abandoned us every single time and didn't even give us credit for any previous success because you weren't part of the solution but the problem.
You wanted surrender from day one with the Israelis. Druze, Sunni and Christians all excluding the Shia who continued to believe that despite sacrifices - there is a chance.
We carried the burden alone and even though we could stop fighting any day, we cannot stop because we know what comes next is only oppression and occupation.
You forgave the Israeli but didn't forgive the Syrian. Yet we should forgive the Israeli who harmed much more.
You forgave the Israeli but didn't forgive the Palestinian. Yet we should forgive the Israeli who harmed much more.
Yet we should forgive all. Accept all. And be alone.
Lebanon is a failed concept. Humanity is a failed concept. Human existence as a whole is a fake project.
The way everyone re-writes recent events and turn them into different narrations is mind-blowing.
