I understand the war's motive and even though it's a very bitter pill for me to personally swallow, and since I'm not in direct danger due to the consequences of the war, I can say I understand the war's motive and I'm not particularly against it in the sense that I was in the first hour

I understood it's a war of choice, but one forced on us. The Israeli army has been attacking for 15 months and even before those 6 rockets by Hezbullah, Israel attacked Lebanon the same day it attacked Iran. Lebanon's Hezbullah didn't do anything for 15 months

Worse, Hezbullah was told that yes, if they don't participate, Israel will not attack. HOWEVER, diplomats mentioned they cannot guarantee that Israel will not invade Lebanon once done with Iran.

Worse, Israel itself acknowledge they were preparing a pre-emptive decapitating attack on Lebanon's Hezbullah in early March 2026

Despite all that ...I still feel pessimistic about the results and while I'm pro-eastern camp, I concede that the Western Camp is unrivaled.

Regardless, I have hope that these events, even if they don't bear results this year, they will bear great results eventually.

No evil lasts forever. Good will always have a day.

What particularly comforted me, is the number of people around me and friends from school, university, collage and work who have been supportive of Hezbullah and didn't question the motives

I witnessed this with many social media people from all counts if lives. Not mouthpieces, genuine apolitical everyday people.

They were calm, understanding, patient and hopeful. Many lost houses, shops, and wealth but have hope.

For that, I pray the Islamic republic survives under the same regime and that Lebanon's Hezbullah has produce a miracle in defense against the Israeli invasion in order to force the arm of Israel

Didn't God assist Prophet Muhammad and his companion with angels in Badr? He could do the same and produce a miracle.

If he doesn't, they he has decreed that we will suffer until a day comes when we are worthy of triumph again.
