As Hezbullah has presented for 3 months now and has I explained in previous times...the dire need is to fully secure calm on the border because the goal is now that.

The goal is to fend off the Jews and the U.S away, continue to learn from the previous mistakes, deal with the consequences, help people rebuild, take care of the injured, and deal with the fallout from the collapse of Syria.

Hezbullah's leadership made it very clear that they do not want to give a single excuse for the Israelis or the Lebanese government to attack them to trigger a new conflict.

Even Sheikh Naim Qassem said resistance has faces and implied now isn't for armed. Armed resistance has its time and its conditions.

The irresponsibility people who fired today fires and went home to their camps or homes, knowing well they are safe while the burden of this childish irresponsible act will be carried by the Lebanese Shia in the south who are still injured in this war and who now lost more houses and more civilians and the resistance lost more infrastructure that it was trying to slowly re-establish in secret for the very far future.

What's worse is that Aoun's statement condemns what has been happening since 18-Feb.

Dear president, what has been happening since 18-Feb? Literally and exclusively, only Israel attacks with zero action by Hezbullah.

Hezbullah isn't condemning the attacks, let alone even acknowledging the deaths, so as to avoid giving anyone an excuse to shift blame onto them.

See its as messed up as today's situation as it is now these two leading figures didn't decide to act or condemn until some attack happened from Lebanon.

Yet stayed dead silent for 3 months against Israeli shootings, attacks, airstrikes, drone strokes, assassinations, bulldozer activity and of course drone and jet activity.

See this is what pisses us southern Lebanese more than the Israeli attacks.

🇱🇧 Lebanese Defense Minister Major General Michel Menassa stressed Lebanon's rejection of a return to the pre-November 2024 ceasefire, affirming its commitment to confronting attempts to undermine the state's efforts to consolidate security and stability on the southern and eastern borders.

He noted that the Lebanese Army has begun investigating the circumstances of the launching of rockets from Lebanon toward the occupied Palestinian territories.

Menassa called on the states sponsoring the ceasefire agreement to deter the Israeli enemy from its violations and emphasized the importance of activating the work of the monitoring committee in coordination with the Lebanese Army.

He also called on the Lebanese to be aware and vigilant against attempts to sow discord between the army and the population.

The Minister affirmed that the Lebanese state is continuing its efforts to ensure Lebanon's sovereignty, the security of its people, and the protection of its borders.
