📍How did the Lebanese independent and Nationalist MPs react to being asked about the Israeli drones over Beirut?

Mark Daou on the Israeli drones flying on the night of the presidential election:

They are filming the Lebanese people happy, with smiling faces.

He's talking about the same drones that killed and contributes in the murder of thousands of Lebanese Shia a mere month ago!

How is this acceptable? How can they joke about an armed drone over the capital by an enemy army like this!?

"I represent the Shia, like any other Shia MP"

🇱🇧 To make the situation worse, the head of communication of the Lebanese Forces party openly said that he is thankful Hezbullah's support for didn't stop before the October war, else Hezbullah's loses would have been less!

During this war 4,000 Lebanese were killed and 20,000 injured. During this war the Lebanese border villages were destroyed.

He's openly celebrating the results of the Israeli war. This is who they are, yet they wants us to trust them?

🇱🇧 Similarly, the mutt, Jordanian Palestinian but made Lebanese Wadah Sadeq openly attacked Hezbullah and Amal and stated they do not represent Lebanese Shia.

In light of the elections, he either is trying to imply he rejects the evidence of the elections or Shia are sheep who don't know how or what to vote for.

📸 Massive Israeli demolitions inside the town of Aita al-Shaab, where the IDF is wiping a whole town in non-stop demolitions!

🇱🇧l🇮🇱 The Lebanese army has been waiting at the western entrance to the town of Aitaroun from the direction of the city of Bint Jbeil since the morning to enter the town to open the roads that were re-closed by Israeli bulldozers.

The IDF is still in the town demolishing, and so delaying the entry of the Lebanese army.

The Lebanese state wants to rebuild south Lebanon, but with each day they dely entering dozens of houses are being lost.

A ceasefire in Gaza is imminent, paving the way in gradual phases to end the war.

Congratulations 🎉

Below are the highlights. There are most details like Israeli drones allowed to survey, etc etc. This is not yet an end of the war nor an agreement to fully withdraw from Gaza

- 6 weeks of ceasefire

- Gradual withdrawal of the IDF from the Gaza Strip 

- 600 humanitarian trucks will enter the Strip 

- Hamas will release 33 Israeli hostages

- Israel will release 30 Palestinians in exchange for each kidnapped civilian

- Israel will release 50 Palestinians for each kidnapped female soldier

During these 6 weeks, the Israelis and Hamas will negotiate over the remaining male hostages, dead and alive, and the other steps to withdraw from Gaza and so on.

I didn't except them to be part of this now.

They are hopefully part of the negotiation on male soldiers. Those are usually negotiated for a higher number of hostages so easier to work with.

Hamas now cannot justify negotiating for Hezbullah's 8 or so, when there are up to a 10,000 Palestinian prisoners.

About 1,000+ Palestinian will be freed as part of this deal. A cheaper price than before but good enough for now

Of these 1,000, are hundreds arrested after 7-Oct from Gaza and elsewhere and about 200 who got life sentences in Israel.

- A meeting between Presidents Berri and Salam will take place on Friday to discuss the process of forming the government

- Salam may meet one of the leaders of Hezbullah, and based on that, the horizon of the next stage will be determined

- Whether or not the national (Shia) duo will participate in the government will be determined by those meetings

🇱🇧l🇺🇸 U.S. Major General Jasper Jeffers, Chairman of the Cessation of Hostilities Implementation “Mechanism”, joined by French Brigadier General Guillaume Ponchin, accompanied Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) officers today to visit LAF checkpoints in south-west Lebanon.  

LAF 5th Brigade assumed full control of this area last week immediately after Israeli forces withdrew.

"MG Jeffers and BGR Ponchin visited seven LAF checkpoints where the group observed Lebanese Soldiers monitoring roadways to provide security and prevent the movement of unauthorized armed groups".

They also witnessed a LAF engineer team detonating some of the 31 rockets (107 mm) discovered in Chama this morning.

❗️ Today: An Israeli patrol advanced for the first time to the vicinity of the pond in the center of Bint Jbeil and enters the Ahl al-Bayt complex.

The IDF never reached the town in the war, let alone its center! News by Al-Akhbar newspaper.

The Jews are expected to withdraw fully in 10 days.
