Iran decided to respond to avenge the blood of Sayyed Hassan and his Iranian companion, a mere few days after their murder, after Iran gave the US and Israel a 1.5 months to de-escalate, end the bloodshed, and enage with Iran.

When all became clear they were only bluffing and lying, action was taken.
