🇮🇱l🇺🇸l🇱🇧 Remember yesterday's news about the negotiations for a ceasefire in Lebanon.

It seems as always and similar to Gaza, Netanyahu made a mockery of the USA, and at the end, they awarded him with more weapons and a whopping 9 billion dollars in free aid, from U.S. taxpayer money.

In the details, the White House press secretary Karine Jean Pierre said that "the announcement about the temporary ceasefire in Lebanon was published in coordination with Israel."

However once the announcement became public, the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu walked back from a private understanding with the Biden administration and distanced himself from the proposal for 21-day ceasefire in Lebanon presented by the U.S. & France.

The proposal was even publicly supported by the US Defense Department.

"I don't know why Netanyahu said what he said and I don't know what his considerations were - whether they were political or operational. Ask him why he said that”, Kirby said

Kirby stressed that the ceasefire statement was published after consultation with Israel and added the Israelis "were aware of every word" in the statement.

Israel simply has no reason to accept a ceasefire now, the biggiest real threat for them in an immediate timeframe is Hezbullah and they are putting a bit show in Lebanon against it now. The conditions are simply good enough for Israel to not need to stop.

🇮🇱l🇺🇸 As for the aid,

Israel said on Thursday it had secured an $8.7 billion aid package from the United States to support its ongoing military efforts and to maintain a qualitative military edge in the region.

The package includes $3.5 billion for essential wartime procurement, which has already been received and earmarked for critical military purchases, and $5.2 billion designated for air defense systems including the Iron Dome anti-missile system, David's Sling and an advanced laser system.

Israel has been the largest cumulative recipient of U.S. foreign aid since its founding, receiving about $310 billion (adjusted for inflation) in total economic and military assistance

The United States provided Israel considerable economic assistance from 1971 to 2007, but nearly all U.S. aid today goes to support Israel’s military, the most advanced in the region

⭕️ So far today, Hezbullah took credit for 4 attacks on the Israeli enemy, announcing:

- Kiryat Ata settlement was targeted with Fadi-1
- Tiberias settlement was targeted with rockets x2
- Eleyna settlement was targeted with Fadi-1

These attacks are in retaliation to "the barbaric aggression of the Israeli army on Lebanese towns and villages"

🥀 9 civilians were killed from one family in the border town of Shebaa, after an Israeli airstrike on an inhabited house.

- 15 rockets were launched into the Tiberias and Kinneret area in two different volleys.

A 25-year-old man was moderately injured and suffers a significant injury from fragments of interceptor parts.

- 4 Hezbullah drones were intercepted over the maritime space in front of the shores of Rosh Hankara

- The IDF issued a statement, claiming that the in the attack on Tuesday in Beirut in which the commander of the missile and rocket array was murdered - his deputy and another senior in the missile array were also killed

There names are available online, and there funerals are announced locally by Hezbullah, however not yet by official military media.

🇮🇱l🇱🇧 Israel's Avigdor Lieberman calls on the government and army to create a 10-km buffer zone in Lebanon.

He says that "by blood and the sword the Jewish kingdom fell, and by blood and sword it shall rise again".
