The Netanyahu government submitted a document to the mediators on July 27, titled “Explanatory Document.”

This document was sent by his government with the aim of thwarting the negotiations after Hamas’s approval of another document which was a surprise to the Israeli government. When the Prime Minister’s Office saw that there was an opportunity to reach a deal, they decided to back down and sent Mossad chief Didi Barnea to Doha to convey additional “clarifications.”

He adds that he will not agree to leave the Philadelphia corridor, because once they leave it, they will never return and this is important to deny Hamas the ability to build-up again in the future.

He adds that he will refuse any hostage deal that will demand the evacuation of the corridor.

He also attacks his minister of defence and army commander who says we can leave the corridor eventually. They said so knowing they have the ability to come back anytime and know that Hamas hasn't smuggled anything through tunnels since SiSi came to power in Egypt.

He concludes that they will not leave the corridor under any condition, proceeds to attack Biden and say his statement was useless.

Netanyahu then answered some questions, one of which is about when Israelis in the north can come home. He said he doesn't know.

✍ Some channel observation

- As I always believed, Netanyahu has a personal grudge and hate against Palestinians that surpass that of Lebanese. He never fought a war in Lebanon and I still think he won't in this battle. (Yet)

- This war seems that it'll end when Netanyahu's government either collapses or until the new Knesset elections. That's a long time from now.

His stance is so strong, it'll be some type of unprecedented internal pressure that could make him lean. He just declared things in a way he cannot walk back from.
