📄 An article by the New York Times confirms implicitly that Israel didn't have intelligence on when Hezbullah will attack, but rather the detection of movement at a large scale in south Lebanon is what collaborated with a possible large scale attack and its when jets were ordered to attack pre-emptively.

However what bugs me, is that Israel knew what the target will be, they just didn't know when and from where (which launch sites). Did they know beforehand, or did they discover it basing it on the trajectory of drones? Unlikely because I read about the targets just as Hezbullah started with the attack.
